FAQ - Why can I not edit or delete something in a split group?

A shared group may be read-only if the owner has not allowed participants to make changes. Ask the owner to enable editing access.

A person cannot be deleted while they are connected to expenses or payments because those records are needed to calculate the group correctly. Edit or remove the related entries first. If you joined a shared group, deleting the group removes it only from your device; it does not delete the owner's group.
